Chapter 14
Meeting 2PMThe view was as good as everyone said it was. The sun disappeared while Paula and Taecyeon made their way to the lookout point, so the twinkling lights of the city against the darkened background were breath taking. Add the fact that Seoul just seemed to glow made her fall in love with the area even more.
They didn’t say much during the ride, or as they got off the cable car to look at the scenery. It was comfortable and awkward all at the same time. She kept thinking on the past year or so, and how crazy it all was. Who would have ever thought she would meet 2PM during her first minutes of arriving in Korea? The answer is no one. And now she considered the group members as friends. Which was even crazier.
As Paula was lost in her thoughts, she didn’t notice Taecyeon leave her side and come back, with locks in his hands.
Nudging her to get her attention, he displayed two locks in his hands: one purple (her favourite colour) and one blue (his favourite colour).
“One’s for you,” he explained, “And one’s for me.”
She nodded wistfully, taking hers as they both walked over to the Locks of Love.
“You’re still reading my mind,” she said quietly.
“How?”
“I wanted to leave a lock here as soon as I learned about it,” she answered.
He smiled.
“Here,” he said, giving her a Sharpie, “Write on your lock, and lock it somewhere. I’ll do the same. Then we’ll meet here and then probably go home.”
She nodde
